This letter is to escalate a grievance against Dr. Starlina Staroselky’s psychiatric diagnosis that she wrote about me (Richard M. Green) dated October 4th of 2012. The review was extremely slanted and was described by one of my friends as “a hatchet job written by someone who had an ax to grind and a vendetta against me. “ Aside from the fact that there were several errors (I’m divorced I’m not single and I was 53 at the time this diagnosis was writing not 59 - she claimed I was 59 twice) the evaluation made extensive use of loaded words and loaded phrases (she called me “pale” and “slightly disheveled”) she put me down as being “preoccupied with religion in a paranoid fashion” . Furthermore, there is no mention of my interests in art, music, philosophy, economics, weightlifting etc.
The evaluation also called my mental functioning as “average” when my IQ is over 130 (in the top 4% of the country) and my verbal reasoning score was determined at the 97th % percentile level and my math skills are rated as 90th %. These test s were given by West Hollow Jr. High School in Melville, LI when I was 14 back in 1973. Furthermore, the combination of my verbal reasoning score and my math score was ranked at the 99th percentile level indicating that a more sensitive test is needed to determine that anyone is better at me as per those 2 parameters combined. One IQ test revealed that I had six choices of a career path 1. An architect, 2. A private investigator, 3. A writer, 4. A sculptor, a CEO of a company and a 6. Psychologist. I am in fact, an extremely versatile person who finds the world a fascinating place. You can analyze God’s giving me these gifts as per Jesus Christ’s parable of the talents. I am hoping to be able to put those talents to a commercial use in the future.
There is no mention of my extensive business experience in a variety of fields (I’ve designed weightlifting equipment for the TDS Barbell Company) and written and analyzed marketing research surveys for one of my teachers while I was a finance major at Long Island University back in 1983 and am a member of the American Economic Association. Also, I worked as a computer programmer analyst for 3 major companies: Leviton Manufacturing in New Hyde Park, NY, AT&T in Piscataway, NJ and Consolidated Edison in NY for a total of 7 years. I was told that my writing style was the best in the directorate I was in that consisted of several hundred computer programmers while I was at AT&T. These are very hard companies to get into and it’s even harder to stay there for an extended period of time.
I took several courses in psychology and one of my teachers, Dr. Angela LaSala told me that the analysis of the case histories that I wrote were excellent. I also took courses from Consumer Connections and used what I learned to work at the Self Help Center of New Brunswick as a facilitator and as the President and Vice President for several years.
I am also a well-known, published writer. I have been published on line and in newspapers for years. I am concerned for my fellow man and have been on anti-suicide forums, anti-domestic violence, anti-child abuse, anti-cult forums and on forums and newspapers concerned with civil rights.
I also sculpt and make 3 dimensional objects like toys and masks out of rubber, plastic and plaster of Paris and I have sold my works at stores, comic book/sci-fi conventions and flea markets. I am also a patron of the arts. A former freelance employee of mine, Mark Alfrey (http://www.markalfrey.com) designed a line of Halloween masks for me and later on he worked for Distortions Unlimited (http://www.distortionsunlimited.com) a very big mask making company whose masks can be found in better Halloween stores, and he “made it” in Hollywood and worked on prominent TV shows such as Babylon 5, Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Hercules the Legendary Journeys. Mark Also designed the sculpture of Angus Young, the lead guitar player for the famous rock group, AC/DC that appears on the group’s CD, “Stiff Upper Lip.” Mark also understood my hiring him and bailing him out of numerous problems that he had in a religious context as “the savior!”
Furthermore, I am considered to be a “God” myself as I am called Thor when I go to the sci-fi and comic cons in NY because of a very elaborate costume that I designed revolving around my interpretation of that character. I won first prize for “Superhero” at a costume party in New Brunswick back in ’92. The costume consisted of 14 molds and took me months and a lot of money to design. I also walked straight into Marvel Comics headquarters in NY some years ago and I created quite a stir over it.
Religion runs in my family. My parents always kept kosher. My paternal grandmother’s brother was Rabbi Henry Benn my first cousin once removed is Rabbi Neil Sambrowsky. I am also an ordained assistant rabbi I lived in Israel for 4/12 years and am conversant in Hebrew. In fact, one of the owners of Morning Glory, Barry, told me that my Hebrew was better than his and he asked me “what are you doing here?” I have been the second in command at the now-defunct 8th St. Shul, Congregation Zavchest V’Zausmer at 318 E. 8th St. in NYC.
My ordination was agreed to by Rabbi Yitzchak Fried, Shlitah and Rabbi Yeshua Witt, Shlitah, formerly of Jerusalem. Rabbi Witt had his ordination for adjudicating halacha, “Jewish law,” by Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau who was the Chief Ashkenazi Rabbi of Israel and is now the Chief Rabbi of Tel Aviv and was Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach’s #1 man for years.I lived with Rabbi Witt twice and he used to give me private lessons in Judaism. I gave classes and also ran the music night at the Shul. We were the last surviving synagogue in “Alphabet City” in the East Village of NY. We had musicians coming in from all over the tri-state region to participate and one of our sponsors, Rabbi Dov Shurin, had me on his radio slot on the Zev Brenner Show discussing my stays in Israel and my association with the well-known, controversial but widely loved, Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, of Blessed Memory. But religion is only one of my interests. Nevertheless, I am not mentioned on the shul’s website. Nor am I in anything relavant to the Carlebach Movement despite my long association with Reb Shlomo and my sitting shmirah (“watching his last remails”) starting Saturday, October 22 until Sunday, October 23 from 11:00 until 8:30 in the morning. Why I am never mentioned I ‘ll never know.
I play the guitar and am versatile on that instrument too as I’ve played Jewish music, soft rock, hard rock and heavy metal. I still play for my friends. I play styles by Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, Arlo Gurthrie, Van Halen, Dokken, the Scorpions, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and more.
Also not mentioned is my education consisting of an AAS Suffolk County Community College (GPA was 3.94), a BS in Business Management and Economics, a Master of Science in Management (3.73 CUM and I finished the degree in under of one study coming in third in the class even though I hardly studied.), credits towards a DBA (I took 3 courses and had a perfect CUM) and the program in freelance writing that I did with Penn Foster (I had a 4.0 there too).
As far as my “paranoia” over religion, I believe that the proper study of man is God and that religion is the highest form of philosophy but I inherited a broken family over religion. My long term quest for truth led me to go to Israel 5 times. My paternal grandparents got divorced over religious differences and every religious group that I joined created problems for me. My grandfather, Maurice Green, coul d not find a job in which he didn’t have to work on the Sabbath. I also got attacked by Nazis and anti-Semites in Taukomas Elementary School as the Nazis used to meet right across from the school at the Chateau Restaurant on Chateau Drive.
When I was 14 I converted to Christianity and the church, St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hicksville, LI became a full blown cult. Extensive documentation can be found by myself and others on the Rick A. Ross Institute’s forum at forum.rickross.com in reference to the Jack Hickman cult which is actually growing a spreading. In brief, when my father found out that I converted he cried and said, “I don’t have a son anymore.” He took my sister out of public school and put her in Hebrew Academy of Suffolk County. Furthermore, my sister joined the Jewish Defense League and I got repeated threats as per their elite Chaya Squad (animal squad – they all weighed over 300 lbs) also, my father abused me as a child and I have received numerous death threats and threats of bodily harm from him, my sister, my Uncle’s widow, Dagmar Green and Dagmar’s son Michael and my ex-wife, Julie Nemon, ran out on me screaming “We set you up to fall flat on your face”. I knew her from working in Chabad’s main office). Furthermore, I was at Chabad’s village in Israel after I got my MSM degree and someone challenged me to a wrestling match. Since I knew his uncle, Rabbi Vashedsky, I agreed to the match. I won easily by pin as I was on the wrestling team when I was in Jr. High. All of a sudden, some lunatic came after me with a knife saying, “So you think you’re a tough guy huh?”
Chabad Lubavitch’s Rabbi Shea Hecht wrote a book called Confessions of a Jewish Cultbuster and the second chapter, “Hank and the Hebrew Christians” revolved around what happened to me in Hickman’s cult. It was slanted and biased and was replete with distortions, exaggerations and outright lies. I worked for Chabad Later on and for someone associated with them and was laughed out of the office and was attacked by an employer, Aaron GItchell numerous times.
I was treated by UMDNJ for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder because my father, Stanley E. Green used to stick me in the butt with pins and needles, (don’t worry he used to sterilize the needles). He also gave me repeated death threats and threats of bodily harm like, “Dr.s bury their mistakes,” “I’m going to put you in Camp Concentration.” When his father died in winter of ’67, my father kept telling me, “I am going to put you right next to your grandfather.” My father and mother abandoned me after I couldn’t find work 13 and ½ years ago. As far as my sister Caryn Rochelle Sanders (nee Green) she used to make up lies and tell them to our father and he used to believe every little lie she said and she admitted doing this to him when she became an adult. My family doesn’t exist anymore.
My sister and I used to torture my father and mother because they weren’t Orthodox Jews. My “religious” relatives are functional as is my sister. I hope for a financial and psychological resurrection.
I hope we review this. By the way, I am not going to let you dump this in my lap. There are bombs going off all over the world over religion and my people are under attack in Israel and all over the globe.
